The State of Hawaii is made up of eight main islands, and six are open to visitors.

Oahu, the most populated, is home to Hawaii’s capital of Honolulu and the popular visitor destination of Waikiki.

An enticing blend of cosmopolitan culture and natural beauty, Oahu is home to Hawaii's capital city of Honolulu, and its number one hot spot neighborhood — Waikiki. It's often the first stop for first-time guests - and will host Gay Bowl XXII.

Waikiki Beach is a friendly place where many visitors have learned to catch a wave for the first time. If you would rather watch some of the world's best surfers take on some giant waves, Oahu's North Shore is the home to Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, considered the Super Bowl of surfing, in November and December.

Most visitors will stay within the confines of Waikiki and maybe venture out to some tourist spots like Pearl Harbor. Your hosts recommend that you get out of Waikiki and explore.
