We’re thrilled to announce that Buffalo now has a new chapter of the National Gay Flag Football League (NGFFL), thanks to a relationship with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
This collaboration is a game-changer for bringing LGBTQ+ organized football to Buffalo. The Buffalo Bills join other supportive NFL teams like the New England Patriots, Giants, Jets, Dolphins, Cardinals, Bears, Commanders, and Seahawks in making our growing league even more inclusive.
Spanning 27 cities and 4,000 players across North America, the NGFFL is dedicated to building an inclusive community through diversity, athleticism, and sportsmanship. We provide a safe space for individuals of all backgrounds, including straight allies, to share their passion for flag football, promoting equality both on and off the field.
Collaborations with NFL teams in shared markets go beyond financial support; they are genuine community partnerships. Our NFL supporters have opened their facilities to LGBTQ+ football practices and warmly welcomed players, fostering a more inclusive environment in their cities.
Following in the footsteps of our other partner cities, Buffalo, through its community spirit, is taking a significant step toward furthering competitive seven-on-seven inclusive flag football. Together with the Buffalo Bills, we’re making this vision a reality.
